Remember the OnePlus One? The Cyanogen powered device that stormed the tech world, gaining many fans in the process. The device itself was fantastic, but its progress to greater popularity was hampered by low production numbers and an invitation system to cover up that cock up. However now, there is a new and improved version of the Chinese wonder hitting the shores of Her Majesty’s Britain.
The OnePlus Two has officially become available online on Amazon, so I guess you can say it has launched in the UK. The listings I Found were around the £365 to £380 mark, however Daily Mail reported the device being available for £289. Strangely enough the device itself is not available from the OnePlus British store.
To give you a taste of what the self-proclaimed “flagship-killer” is all about, here are the specs: 64-bit Qualcomm© Snapdragon™ 810 processor with 1.8GHz Octa-core CPUs (capable of 2GHz) with 4GB of DDR4 RAM and a 5mpx front facing camera and a 13mpx six lens shooter on the back capable of 4K video and 720p 120fps slow-mo. All in all, a bargain of the century all things considered, when you know that this device costs just over half the price of the devices that it’s going up against. For the record, the iPhone 6 starts at £539.
Ironically, it isn’t available on Three.
