Over the past year VR or virtual reality headsets have become extremely popular. One of the major things that these headsets have been lacking is the ability to track your body which would allow for a much more immersive experience and would truly transport you to another world.
At CES 2015 Razer announced their open source virtual reality headset, OSVR. This is aimed at developers and should allow for many more uses of this technology. It appears that Leap who are famous for their Leap motion hand tracking input device have started working with this technology and are to release their own VR ready hand tracking device.
In my opinion this is the way forward for VR and gaming in general. I can’t wait to see what Leap have to offer and we will be sure to share more with you when we find out about it.
